Living in Spain on your own means.

Non-lucrative residence (residencia no lucrativa) is the route for those living on private means and for those retiring to the Costa del Sol: living in Spain without carrying on any activity in the country. We assemble the file, defend it before the authorities and stay with you until you are settled.

The service

What it is and who it is for

For those who can live on their own means without working in Spain: income, savings, pensions or investments held outside the country. It is the usual route for those retiring to the Mediterranean or wishing to spend most of the year here without depending on local employment.

The central requirement is solvency: evidencing sufficient income or means for you and for the family members accompanying you, together with health cover valid in Spain. We tell you how much, how to prove it and which policies the authorities accept.

A solid file is granted; an improvised one ends in appeal. Before a single document is moved, we check that your profile fits. Without obligation.
